Excellent design and building happens when we work together in collaboration. First, we dig deep to define our clients’ vision and then present design ideas which illustrate and represent the details that will result in the final goal. We believe in clear communication that builds understanding and trust in order for the magic to happen. Our team will guide you through whichever level of service you choose and we can also provide support in permitting, timelines, budgets and design decisions.
We are original and our design approach is utterly unique, thoughtful and intuitive. Natural light is where we want to live.
We can also work hand-in-hand with your architect or builder to imagine and draw spaces. We can provide a full inspiration vision for you from start-to-finish — and details can be maximized within budget considerations. Our work is focused on new builds, full-scale renovations or major edits of homes. We work primarily in Boulder, but also work in the Colorado mountains, NYC and other cities in the U.S., including Honolulu. Working remotely is a tested method for our team and can be cost effective and efficient for all team members. During the progress of the project, we schedule site visits for me or a team member to check progress, and meet with the GC to discuss build dilemmas and questions that arise — creating solutions on site if possible to avoid any change orders that add unnecessary costs to the bottom line.
We believe in sustainability and in building green as much as possible to help our ever growing planet. We choose to design in a timeless vein by using design techniques and materials that age and improve over time over short-lived design trends. We also seek to use products from companies that provide transparency in terms of material content, fair labor practices and a forward leaning environmental position. As principal designer, I work closely with my builders for the length of our project. They provide budget estimates with timelines for us to reach our project goals. As the project progresses, we can also provide renderings — 3D images of photo accurate spaces that can help you envision how your home will look, which helps in decision making and approving purchases. We provide full project management services that track, manage and schedule installation when timing is right. We can provide audits of completion in terms of the design budget and schedules. All the while, a beautiful cohesive design plan that is created collaboratively with you will help us lead the way.
